Application to nuclear design; Cross-section adjustment method

Ishikawa, Makoto

Nihon Genshiryoku Gakkai Dai-45-Kai Robutsuri Kaki Semina Tekisuto, p.136 - 157, 2013/07

As one of the methods to improve the nuclear design accuracy of atomic power rector cores, there is so-called "Cross-section adjustment method", which reflects a number of measured data obtained from critical experiments and power reactor orations, on the reactor constant set used in the design work. In this lecture, the author explains the history of the cross-section adjustment study, basic equations, differential nuclear data for adjustment including their covariance data, integral data for adjustment inclucing the error matrix, and outline of the Japanese latest adjusted library, ADJ2010, to demonstrate the technical standard of the current adjustment methodology.
